Every AUREON film is backed by a 10-year manufacturer's warranty when installed by a certified AUREON professional.
Coverage
What is covered
- Delamination and adhesive failure under normal use
- Yellowing or discoloration caused by manufacturing defects
- Bubbling or blistering arising from film defects
- Cracking or hazing originating from the film substrate
- Loss of self-healing properties within the warranty period
- Premature wear of the hydrophobic top coat under normal conditions
Exclusions
What is not covered
- Damage caused by improper installation
- Physical damage from accidents, vandalism, or misuse
- Damage caused by automatic or brush car washes
- Scratches from abrasive cleaning products or improper tools
- Damage from chemical contaminants or improper detailing products
- Normal wear at film edges in high-contact areas
Eligibility
Warranty eligibility conditions
- Film installed by a certified AUREON installer
- Warranty registered within 30 days of installation
- Vehicle properly prepared before installation
- Non-transferable: applies to the original registered owner
- Film maintained according to AUREON care guidelines
- Proof of purchase and installation documentation for claims
Durability
What to expect over time
Years 1–3
Peak performance: full self-healing activity, maximum clarity, optimal hydrophobic behavior.
Years 4–7
Sustained protection: minor reduction in self-healing speed, full UV and impact performance.
Years 8–10
Continued coverage: the film protects your paint through the end of the warranty period.
How to make a warranty claim
Contact your certified AUREON installer first. If the issue is a manufacturing defect, the installer facilitates the claim with AUREON on your behalf.
